Not much to say about Paul really, except that he was born in Stockport, England on 9th May 1959.
In his youth, he used to play trombone for Whaley Bridge Brass Band. When he was old enough to drive, he took his driving test and passed first time (so he says). There began his love affair with cars. If I remember correctly, his first car was a mini traveller – you know one of those with the wood panelling on the back. He also had a Triumph Dolomite when I first knew him, back in 1984. What I didn’t know was that this was his ‘winter’ car. His ‘summer’ car was, and still is a 1977 Triumph Stag.
This photo was taken in September 1999 at a cabrio and classic car rally in and around Nijmegen. We didn’t win, but it was great fun nonetheless!
