Serina Josephine

Baby has a name! She is no longer Angel Moonbeamchild, but Serina Josephine Groen. Here she is sleeping in Daddy Kevin’s arms.

Baby Goes Home

Day Three and Angel Moonbeamchild is going home! Here is the little pixie fast asleep in her car seat, looking oh-so-comfortable.

Baby Angel Moonbeamchild

Day Two and the baby still doesn’t have a name, so I’ve given her one. Angel Moonbeamchild.

Ivan gets his Expert Jumpers Bronze Title

Yesterday at Dogz in the stinking heat – last run of the day – Ivan ran a nice clean jumpers run for his 10th Masters Q and Expert Jumpers Bronze title.

Good boy, Ivan!

It almost makes up for those missed a-frame contacts…..

The Graduate

Matthew attended his convocation ceremony held on June 17th at Scotiabank Place. He graduated from Algonquin College where he was taking the Police Foundation course.

Steeplechase Gold

That’s 100 Qs!!!!
Tyra earned number 100 at Wimberway Farms in Powassan. Jennifer Laird & I were judging at a very small but cozy trial just outside of North Bay.

Regionals!

28-30th May was the AAC Ontario Regional Championships in Fergus, near Guelph.

Tyra and Ivan both made the trip. Ivan had some nice runs – even getting the gamble twice (but over time) but the venue and PA system was a little too much for him and he melted down a couple of times. Still, not a bad performance for a young dog who only turned 3 at the beginning of May.

Tyra had two stellar jumpers runs, taking first place in each of them. She got both the gambles too, but faulted in both her standard runs. She did well enough to finish 4th place overall in the 22″ Specials division. So very pleased with Tyra! We will be making the trip out to Spruce Meadows, Calgary in August for the Nationals!
